The TAILOR Network is developing a Strategic Research and Innovation Roadmap (SRIR), with the ambition to define the foundations of Trustworthy AI for the years 2020-2030. This major collaborative effort is now in a pivotal phase, with the first version expected end of March 2022. To continue this work, all TAILOR Network members are encouraged to read and comment on the current draft.
The first draft, by main authors Michela Milano and Marc Schoenauer, was made available and discussed at a workshop in February 2022. The workshop was attended by more than 80 participants, and several important improvements were made to the original draft following participants input. The TAILOR Strategic Research and Innovation Roadmap will shape the main research directions of the project and providing guidelines to the whole European AI community. The Roadmap is also expected to have a large impact on the strategic investments of the European Commission in future work programmes, as part of a consolidated action by six major AI projects AI4Media, CLAIRE, ELISE, HumaneAI, TAILOR and VISION.
For the moment, only members of a TAILOR Network Organisation are invited to comment on the text.Other initiatives and AI actors such as ICT48, ICT49 and the AI, data and Robotics PPP will be able to contribute to version 2.
The deadline for comments and contributions is on 4th March, 2022.
