Deep fake videos detection through explainable AI to combat disinformation on social media
Aiming towards combating the challenges faced by fake video detection, the prime objective of this research is to develop a proactive, advanced explainable, human collaborated AI-based online disinformation detecting tool for securing a trustworthy social media environment. It would be capable of detecting different forms of AI-generated deep fakes videos and tampered content and understanding how and where such types of content spread online. The aim is to build technological capability for algorithmic fake video detection. that could be installed or delivered as a service. It is also aimed to track the user engagements and social behaviors of users on disinformation content over social media.
