New projects funded by Collaboration Exchange Fund

The Collaboration Exchange Fund (CEF) awarded the first projects submitted by PhD students within the TAILOR network.

The TAILOR Collaboration Exchange Fund aims to enhance collaboration between TAILOR partners by funding the mobility of PhD students. While Connectivity Fund (https://tailor-network.eu/connectivity-fund/) is dedicated to funding exchanges between TAILOR and non-TAILOR scientists, the CEF is for boosting connections between TAILOR members.

The first call of CEF sees 3 awarded projects, from PhD coming from 3 different TAILOR partners: Eindhoven University of Technology, University of Pisa, and the University of Bologna.

Here below you can have a look at their projects and read more about them:

Graph Representation Learning for Solving Combinatorial Optimization Problems
Causal Analysis for Fairness of AI Models
How we trust robots: Attribution of Intentionality, Anthropomorphism and Uncanny Valley Effect

The Collaboration Exchange Fund uses a continuous open call. Every 4 months, proposals are ranked by an international scientific board.

The deadline for the next round of application is on May, 1st 2023 for visits that start on July, 1st or later. If you need more information, check out our webpage on how CEF works and how to apply: https://tailor-network.eu/cef/how-it-works/.
