TAILOR is invited to the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Annual Summit

11-12 November 2021, Paris

Forged in 2020 by 18 countries, as well as the European Union, the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) is a multi-stakeholder initiative that aims to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of AI by supporting cutting-edge research and applied activities on AI-related priorities.

Leading international AI experts from civil society, academia, industry and governments, including ministerial-level delegates from GPAI’s membership, will come together in Paris on 11-12 November for GPAI’s annual event. TAILOR is officially invited to take part of the summit and discuss the most relevant topic on AI, such as Responsible AI, AI and Sustainable Development Goals, or AI innovation.

In addition to the Plenary Meeting of Experts reporting on the work of the ten Working Groups’ study topics, included in the 2021 Work Plan (https://gpai.ai/projects/), the GPAI summit will offer three additional open reflection sessions:

  • How to regulate AI to protect human dignity commensurate with the risks while preserving the dynamism of research and commercial innovation?
  • AI-powered Earth Observation for Climate Change Preparedness and Mitigation.
  • AI and Standard Development Goals in partnership with the Paris Peace Forum.

For the detailed program and for more information, see the GPAI website (https://gpai.ai).
